1. One-on-one with Hochul after her State of the State

During her State of the State speech on Tuesday, Gov. Kathy Hochul spoke directly to New Yorkers, delivering her vision for the coming year.

That includes pushing back against the Trump administration’s immigration actions and budget cuts, as well as making life more affordable in New York.

Hochul joined NY1 political anchor Errol Louis on “Inside City Hall” Wednesday to talk more about her agenda.

2. NYPD working to cut down on traffic accidents and deaths

The NYPD says it will not let up when it comes to cracking down on aggressive drivers and bikers.

According to data, last year saw 207 people killed in vehicle crashes across the five boroughs.

3. Federal visa pause leaves NYC families in limbo

The State Department is pausing some immigrant visas for people from 75 countries, including Haiti, next week, saying those applicants are more likely to need public assistance.

Immigration attorney Luis Gomez Alfaro says the pause stops cases at the final step.
