QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) – An MTA conductor was attacked on a Queens subway train on Thursday, according to the NYPD.

Police said it happened on an A train at the Beach 25th Street station around 1:30 a.m. The 37-year-old conductor was punched in the face, and his head hit the cabin wall, according to authorities.

Police said the man was brought to a local hospital for his injuries.

There have been no arrests, and an investigation is ongoing. It’s unclear what led up to the attack and who police are searching for.
