A Titanic superfan has transformed her Manhattan apartment into a replica of the doomed luxury ocean liner with an “insane amount of blue fabric” and a vivid imagination.
Model Sarah Boll, 38, told People she’s seen the iconic film “over 500 times” since watching it with her dad when it was first released in 1997.
She’s also seen some of the traveling exhibits about the tragedy and once even owned a necklace made of coal from the actual ship.

So inspired by the interactive play Sleep No More, she decided to turn her Chinatown pad into a mini version of the Titanic. But what she originally envisioned as decorations for a Halloween party ended up becoming a full-on apartment makeover.
“I would just buy tons of different shades of blue fabric,” Boll explains. “And then I would just experiment with that.” She began draping it everywhere to give the space an underwater vibe.
She also used shiny white material to make an “iceberg.”
Her living room is now a ringer for the Titanic’s Verandah Café, with gold decals and “portholes” that are covered with blue fabric so it looks like you’re gazing out at the ocean.

Her bedroom, which is decorated to resemble one of the boat’s suites, has gilded panels.
News clippings about the tragedy hang throughout the space, while her second bedroom has become the Water Room, which is a model of the boat post-shipwreck.
Boll’s blockbuster-inspired décor went viral after she started posting TikToks of her apartment redo online. The videos eventually racked up millions of views, and now fans are even saying they’d be willing to buy tickets to get a firsthand look.
But Boll is ready to move on, saying that she wants to redecorate her rental using a Wizard of Oz theme next. “I’ve already started buying stuff,” she confesses.
