The New York Giants are bringing in former Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh to run the show next season, but will they bring in some of his players to help ease the transition?
Usually, when a new coach enters a new situation, they bring along a few allies in both the playing and coaching ranks. Harbaugh will likely do the same here with the Giants.
Here are five players who played for the Ravens that might interest the Giants in free agency this offseason.
Center Tyler Linderbaum
A 2022 first-round pick out of Iowa (25th overall), where he was a Rimington Trophy recipient, Tyler Linderbaum has been everything scouts have expected as a pro. He has been named to the Pro Bowl three times and has started in 66 of a possible 68 games since joining the Ravens. The Giants will see him as an upgrade from John Michael Schmitz, but he will be difficult to pry away from Baltimore.

The Giants have a talented tight end room, but any team would welcome the addition of Isaiah Likely. The soon-to-be 26-year-old red-zone specialist served as a nice compliment to Mark Andrews for the last four seasons, grabbing 135 passes for 1,568 yards, 15 touchdowns, and 70 first downs.
Offensive tackle Joseph Noteboom
The 30-year-old has had his injury issues, but has played in some high-stakes games in his career, such as Super Bowl LVI as a member of the Los Angeles Rams. Joseph Noteboom has played in 81 games in his seven-year NFL career, starting 35, and could serve as a swing tackle now that Evan Neal is expected to depart and Andrew Thomas continues to experience injuries.
Outside linebacker David Ojabo
David Ojabo is another player whose career has been interrupted by injuries thus far. The former Michigan standout has played in just 32 games with one start over his four seasons in Baltimore. Ojabo, who played his high school football at Blair Academy in Blairstown, New Jersey, was the 45th player taken in the 2022 NFL draft but has yet to display the type of pass-rushing skills he displayed in college. Still, the Giants could take a flyer on Ojabo, hoping to catch lightning in a bottle.
Fullback Patrick Ricard
While many believe fullback is a retired position in the NFL, Patrick Ricard was widely used in Baltimore, even if he wasn’t consistently touching the ball. He becomes a free agent in March, and if Todd Monken takes over as the Giants’ offensive coordinator, he will likely continue to employ a true fullback. Without one on their current roster, Ricard could become appealing to the Giants.
