A 41-year-old New York man who picked up a child on a South Florida beach and filmed sexual acts with her in Titusville has been sentenced to 54 years in state prison.
Devin White, of the Bronx, was found guilty on 24 felony counts in October 2025, with charges including promoting sexual performance by a child, lewd and lascivious battery and possession of material depicting sexual conduct by a child. He was sentenced Jan. 12 by Brevard County Circuit Court Judge Kathryn Spencer. White, who will be 95 when eligible for release, had faced a potential life sentence.
White was arrested May 13, 2025, after Titusville officers were dispatched to a BP gas station at 3460 Garden St., where White was arguing with the 13-year-old child near the rented Dodge Charger he was driving. The officer determined the child was listed as a runaway and placed her in a patrol car.
Both White and the girl confirmed that she met him on a beach in Hollywood and that she asked him to provide her with a ride to Kissimmee, police reported. White told police that he thought the child was 18 but was unable to confirm her age, reports show. He then drove her to a friend’s house in Titusville.

Officers discovered a sex toy and “other signs of a sexual encounter” inside the rental car, the state attorney’s office said in a release. The pills tested positive for Ecstasy and a cell phone with nearly a dozen videos of the sexual acts involving the two was found, records show.
White will be turned over to the Florida Department of Corrections to serve his sentence.
