This coming Martin Luther King Jr. Weekend – late Friday, January 16 through Tuesday morning, January 20 – there will be no service at the 4/5 platforms at Borough Hall as 4 train service will be suspended and 5 trains do not serve Brooklyn on weekends or holidays; however, 2 and 3 trains should between be running normally between here and Manhattan and 3 trains will provide service between here and New Lots Avenue. Those traveling to or from the east side of Manhatttan can transfer between 2 and 3 trains and 4 trains at Fulton Street. Days and evenings Saturday through Monday there will only be Brooklyn bound service at Court Street and at the N/R platforms at Borough Hall and at Jay Street-MetroTech, as Brooklyn bound R trains will be re-routed. Late nights Friday to Saturday through Monday to Tuesday there will only be Brooklyn bound N train service at these locations, as Manhattan bound N trains will be re-routed and R train service will be suspended in both directions.

The following work week – Tuesday morning, January 20 through Friday evening, January 23 – there are no planned cancellations, re-routings, or station skips directly affecting service at any local stations.

These are the PLANNED changes affecting local service for this weekend and for the following week. Always check MTA Info for unplanned service changes that may affect local service or service on other parts of your trip, or for planned service changes that affect stations to or from which you may be traveling.
