In the 1970s, until the mid 1980s, Buda Bakers was a favorite bakery with several locations on Staten Island, famous for its crumb buns, icebox rolls, and jelly donuts.
Even though Buda Bakers closed years ago, many people still remember the tasty Sunday pastries and the welcoming, family-run atmosphere.
