12 hurt after 2 MTA buses collide in Flushing, Queens – NBC New York

2 occupied Q27 buses collided in Flushing, Queens during the morning commute on Monday, injuring at least 12 passengers, according to the FDNY.

It happened at the intersection of Sanford Avenue and Bowne Street just after 9:00 a.m.

The FDNY said 18 people were on board at the time of the crash. 12 people were sent to the hospital with minor injuries.

MTA officials say Q13, Q27, Q26 and Q65 buses are being detoured.
