Former Nickelodeon actor Kianna Underwood has died after being run down in a hit-and-run accident.
Underwood, who previously appeared on the final season of All That, was identified by multiple media outlets as the victim when a sedan struck her while she was crossing a street in Brooklyn, New York on Friday (January 16).
According to TMZ, the child actor was dragged for nearly two blocks by the vehicle before it fled the scene. Underwood was 33 years old at the time of her death.
In addition to All That, Kianna Underwood also appeared in the 1999 film 24-Hour Woman and provided voice work for the animated movie Santa, Baby.
Following her death, a video resurfaced from 2023 in which All That star Angelique Bates alerted her followers that Underwood was homeless in New York City and needed help.
In her video, Bates called out All That cast members for not doing anything to help her, alleging that the cast acts like they’re one big family while picking and choosing who they actually help. “She’s one of us, and she needs help, but she’s not getting it … and nobody’s speaking on Kianna Underwood,” said Bates.
A few days before her death, another Nickelodeon alum, Guy Moon, who was a composer on The Fairly Oddparents, was killed in a car crash in Los Angeles. According to authorities, the incident was described as an accidental car collision.
Moon’s family confirmed his passing with a social media statement. “We are overcome with grief to announce the passing of our beloved patriarch, Guy Moon,” the family wrote. “We feel singularly blessed to have been able to call him dad and husband.”
