STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Authorities allege a Massachusetts man disseminated indecent material to a 12-year-old girl, police say.
On Jan. 12 the Staten Island Special Victims Squad arrested Raul Santana, 19, in connection with an investigation involving a 12-year-old girl, authorities said.
According to police, Santana was taken into custody at 7:30 a.m.
Santana, who resides at 8 Jillson Circle in Milford, Massachusetts, has been charged with five counts of disseminating indecent material to a minor and endangering the welfare of a child, police said.
According to court records, Santana was arraigned, where he pleaded not guilty.
A temporary order of protection was issued in the case. Santana was released with non‑monetary conditions, records show.
His next appearance is scheduled for March 9 in Richmond Criminal Court in St. George.
An attorney for Santana did not respond by the time of publication.
