Rochester, N.Y. — Rehearsals took place on Friday for the Rochester Community MLK Choir’s show this weekend.

The choir is composed of young people and adults and performs each year for the city’s MLK Junior Songfest.

“This year, we added a youth choir component for the concert to feature our youth,” said Jasen Monroe, coordinator for the MLK Junior Songfest. “We want to get our youth more incorporated, and then we have the adults that will perform as well, about a hundred adults and about 10 to 12 youth that will be singing on Saturday.”

The concert will take place at Kodak Hall. Click here for more information.
