The Black Queens have held their first training session in Egypt as preparations intensify for their decisive 2026 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations (WAFCON) qualifying clash against the North African side.
Eighteen players took part in the lively session under the close supervision of Head Coach Kim Lars Björkegren and his technical staff. The atmosphere was focused yet spirited, with the team fine-tuning tactics and fitness levels ahead of the high-stakes encounter.
The remaining players are expected to arrive in camp within hours to complete the squad before the final training session. Ghana will be hoping to make a strong statement in the first leg as they aim to seal qualification to next year’s WAFCON tournament.
