The Dallas Mavericks head to the World’s Most Famous Arena on Monday afternoon as they play the New York Knights.
Cooper Flagg, the superstar rookie for the Mavs, has missed the last two games after spraining his left ankle in Wednesday’s loss to the Denver Nuggets. But with a couple of days of rest, there is a chance that the No. 1 overall pick in last year’s draft will play when the Mavericks and Knicks take the court.
Flagg has been upgraded to questionable on Monday as the Mavericks prepare for the afternoon matinee in Madison Square Garden. Before the injury, Flagg was averaging 18.8 points, 6.3 rebounds and 4.2 assists in 40 games in his rookie season.Â
Dallas and New York tip off at 5 p.m. ET on NBC.Â
