The annual New York Sportsman’s Expo returns to the Exposition Center at the NYS Fairgrounds this weekend, Jan. 23-25, 2026.

Hours are 12 p.m.-7 p.m. Friday; 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday, and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday. You can buy tickets online or at the door.

Tickets are $15 cash ($15.50 credit card) at the door for adults ages 13-64. Seniors, military, firemen, police, and children are $13 ($13.50 card) at the door, ID required.

Discounted tickets for police, firemen, and military personnel cannot be purchased online, only at the door, ID required. Children under 6 are free.

Check out the wall of trophy bucks from across the state and get your buck scored for free by certified measurers at the New York State Big Buck Club table. If your buck qualifies, there’s a $25 fee to have it put in the record book.

Kids not interested in listening to adults talk about log cabin kits and boat motors will have plenty to keep them entertained in the Fun Zone, including bounce houses, a rock wall, and a mechanical bull. Kids can also fish for trout in the stock pond. Prices vary per activity.

The national Dock Dogs competition will be back for its seasonal kick-off event featuring dogs of all stripes leaping (or sometimes just falling) into a pool. Longest leaps earn points toward the national title. You can even enter your pouncing pooch in the contest.
