(CNN) – Brooklyn Beckham, the son of soccer star David Beckham and Victoria Beckham, is speaking out about what he says is an ongoing clash with his parents.
The 26-year-old Brooklyn shared his detailed account about the matter on Instagram recently, saying his family tried to sabotage his relationship with his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham. The couple married in 2022.
Brooklyn Beckham says he wanted to keep the family drama private but felt forced to speak out, due to his family speaking to the media previously. He says he does not want to reconcile with them.
He also addressed an incident that allegedly took place at his wedding, where his mother danced inappropriately with him. He called the situation uncomfortable and humiliating.
The elder Beckhams haven’t responded to their son’s comments.
