Clifton Park, NY (WRGB) — A New York State Police car was involved in a crash on Jan. 20 at about 6:34 a.m. in Clifton Park.

The marked police car was traveling northbound on Clifton Country Road when it was hit by an eastbound vehicle on Route 146 at the intersection.

The impact caused the vehicle to hit another vehicle traveling westbound on Route 146.

The Trooper sustained minor injuries, and no other injuries were reported. The cause of the crash is under investigation.

The Trooper was not responding to a call, and the vehicle’s lights and sirens were not on at the time of the crash.
