Magic Mike Live is heading to New York City with an all-new flagship production this fall.
The immersive stage show created and directed by Channing Tatum will begin performances Oct. 8, with an official opening night set for Oct. 22, in a newly renovated, custom-built venue just one block from Times Square at 268 W. 47th St. (former home of the Copacabana).
Designed as a 360-degree experience inspired by the hit Magic Mike films, the New York production puts the audience at the center of the action, with performers dancing onstage, overhead and throughout the room. The 90-minute show blends world-class dance, athleticism, acrobatics, comedy and music, all grounded in themes of confidence, celebration and empowerment.
The New York production joins long-running residencies in Las Vegas and London.
“This all started as a crazy idea 10 years ago and look at it now,” Tatum said in a statement. “When we were coming up with the concept for our original show, we first came to the streets of New York City where I hid in a secret confession booth we set up in Midtown and asked women what they really want. Not just in a show, but in life. They shared some deeply powerful things. That insight helped us create our shows in Vegas, London and all over the world. With 10 years of experience and surrounding ourselves with a team of strong and creative women, we’re now coming back to where it all started in New York.”

Magic Mike is based on Tatum’s own history as an exotic dancer. The film franchise began with Steven Soderbergh’s 2012 hit starring Tatum as a male stripper navigating life and ambition in Tampa.
The success of the original movie spawned a 2015 sequel, Magic Mike XXL, and 2023’s Magic Mike’s Last Dance, which followed Tatum’s character as he returned to the stage for one final show. An unscripted HBO reality series, Finding Magic Mike, debuted in 2021.

Beyond the performance itself, Magic Mike Live New York is being positioned as a full-night-out destination, fusing live entertainment with nightlife and hospitality. The venue will feature two second-floor lounges, including Greenlight, a new cocktail and dining space created in collaboration with Authentic Hospitality, the team behind Pebble Bar, Jac’s on Bond and Ray’s.
The lounge will be open nightly for pre- and post-show revelry, even for guests not attending the performance.
Authentic Hospitality is also partnering with Tatum on a more intimate, hidden lounge within the venue, curated by the actor himself and designed as a private-feeling space with a focused cocktail program and elevated atmosphere.
“We’re taking everything we’ve learned over the last decade, and everything our guests have told us they want, and applying it to a hospitality-first nightlife experience where world-class live entertainment is only part of the night,” said executive producer Vincent Marini in a statement. “The venue is designed with the guest at the center of everything.”
