BROOKLYN HEIGHTS — AFTER A DEVASTATING FIRE on Jan. 5 destroyed and contaminated apartments, injured several residents and a firefighter, and displaced families at 75 Pierrepont St., the Brooklyn Heights Association (BHA) is collecting donations through Jan. 25 to assist the victims.

Financial donations will go directly toward immediate necessities such as clothing, food, medications and temporary housing. Also needed: direct donations of clothing and furniture (diapers, coats, bedding, kitchen supplies and appliances); leads on furnished housing available from one to six months; free storage space; and volunteers to help move and sort.

Visit the BHA website for more information on how to donate.
