Joe Andolino-Nick Nappo Musical Soundwall Plans NYC Industry Presentation

Abbey O’Brien is directing the reading, set at an upstate New York high school reunion.

Joe Andolino-Nick Nappo musical Soundwall will get an industry presentation in NYC October 28, at 2 PM at Boulevard Carroll Studios Studio 6. Abbey O’Brien is directing.

The work reimagines Homer’s Odyssey, re-setting the epic tale on the eve of a 20th high school reunion in Ithaca, New York, as three bandmates reunite and attempt to rekindle a faded friendship. Both Andolino and Nappo have penned lyrics, with Andolino taking the lead on music and Nappo handling the book.

The cast will include Nadina Hassan (Mean Girls) as Sam, Gabe Martínez (Moulin Rouge!) as Dax, and David R. Gordon (Ragtime) as Dre, along with Chelsea Williams (Mamma Mia!), Sarah Baskin (A Family Affair), and Lennie Disanto. The presentation will also feature a live rock band featuring music director Andolino, drummer Jason Gianni, and bassist Tony Ventura.

Ampersand Theatrical Management is general managing, and Theatre Rock Live is producing.
