Having said he has no plans to reconcile with his family, Brooklyn Beckham has left fans wondering if he will drop the Beckham name.

Reflecting on the days leading up to his 2022 wedding to Nicola Peltz, Brooklyn wrote: “Weeks before our big day, my parents repeatedly pressured and attempted to bribe me into signing away the rights to my name, which would have affected me, my wife, and our future children.Â
“They were adamant on me signing before my wedding date because then the terms of the deal would be initiated. My holdout affected the payday, and they have never treated me the same since.”
Whether Brooklyn will drop his surname is yet to be confirmed by the star himself, but Simarjot Singh Judge, a solicitor and founder of Judge Law, told HELLO! that the process of Brooklyn changing his name would be incredibly simple. “In England and Wales, an adult can change their surname at any time via deed poll,” he said. “Brooklyn would not need parental consent to do so, and the process itself is legally straightforward.”
