People inside the restaurant and one across the street called the police to report gunshots being heard coming from outside the restaurant just before 7 p.m., Green said.
Moments before the shooting, one individual was inside the restaurant, and two more individuals entered. Then the first individual followed the other two back out to the parking lot, where the shooting took place, she said.
Patrolling officers were able to locate a suspect’s vehicle and stop them for questioning, Green said, adding no motive has been determined at this point.
“That suspect is going to the station,” she said. “The shots seem to have been confined to this area here (in the parking lot). We didn’t see bullet holes in the building or anything like that.”
