Chick-fil-A may be known for its chicken sandwiches and nuggets, but the fast food chicken chain has one non-food item that fans absolutely love: lemonade. In addition to the standard diet and regular drink, Chick-fil-A regulars adore the chain’s Frosted Lemonade—so much so that CFA recently expanded its drinkable lineup to include Frosted Sodas and Floats.

Now, DQ is entering the ice cream and dirty soda game with not one, but four new beverages that might just give Chick-fil-A a run for its money.

Dairy Queen Is Dropping New Lemonade Sparklers and Coolers

This February, Dairy Queen is launching two beverage platforms that are remarkably similar to Chick-fil-A’s beloved Frosted Lemonade. The new DQ Sparklers and Coolers will each be available in two flavors—Lemonade and Pineapple Lemonade with Tajin—for a bright and refreshing bev.

The fast food chain’s new handcrafted DQ Sparklers are made with sparkling water and your choice of flavors like Lemonade or Pineapple Lemonade with Tajin. Just like a fizzy soda, the handcrafted beverages are refreshing and thirst-quenching, making the perfect pairing for one of Dairy Queen’s meals—like the Parmesan Garlic Sauced & Tossed Chicken Strip Basket.

If you’re a big fan of the Blizzard, the new DQ Coolers feature the chain’s signature soft serve for a lighter treat that’s creamy, refreshing, and packed with fruity and citrusy flavor. Each Cooler is made with world-famous soft serve and Misty Slush for a beverage that’s sweet, light, and simply screams summer—and DQ customers agree.

“Lemonade Sparkler and Blizzard?” one fan commented on a food blogger’s Instagram post sharing DQ’s new line-up. “PERFECT Spring/Summer combo right there.”

For fans who like a little extra flavor, DQ’s new fruity beverages sound irresistible—especially Pineapple Lemonade with Tajin, which features the signature spice’s gentle heat, balanced by sweet and refreshing tropical fruit flavors.

If you want to start the summertime vibes early, you can head to DQ starting in February to try the new creations at participating locations across the U.S. While the drinks are sure to be delicious, I’ll personally be heading to Dairy Queen to see just how the Lemonade Sparklers and Coolers stack up against Chick-fil-A.
