On Wednesday, a state Supreme Court judge ruled that the lines of the 11th Congressional District, which covers Staten Island and portions of Brooklyn, must be redrawn by the state’s Independent Redistricting Commission before the 2026 election.
Former Rep. John Faso, a Republican who represented portions of the Capital District and assisted on the last major redistricting lawsuit in New York, discussed the case with Capital Tonight’s Susan Arbetter.Â
