Firefighters were on scene battling an apparent dumpster fire in Allerton Thursday.
Citizen app footage from just after 5:30 p.m. near 1219 Adee Ave. shows children watching the blaze from a nearby playground.
The video captures a large cloud of smoke billowing into the air as crews battle the fire.
News 12 reached out to the FDNY for information and is awaiting a response.
