STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Got scoring?

Staten Island surely does and as it currently stands, there are 26 varsity high school basketball players who are averaging at least 10.0 points per game as of Thursday.

Only two of the current scoring leaders average 20-plus points per game and not surprisingly, those players are 1-2 for the most points scored in one game during the 2025-26 season.

And, by the way, the top two guys are only separated by 0.8 points.

Two of the Island’s 14 teams have three players apiece in the top 26 while eight others have at least two.

Think you know who made the grade with less than two weeks left before the start of the 33rd annual SIHSL Tournament? Scroll down to see the Advance/SILive.com’s first list of the season, in descending order.
