STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Police are investigating a series of robberies that occurred across Staten Island during the week of Jan. 12 to Jan. 18, according to NYPD CompStat data.

The following incidents were reported:

On Jan. 12 at 2 p.m., a robbery that began as a shoplifting incident was reported at Forest and Simonson avenues in Mariner’s Harbor.

On Jan. 14 at 9 a.m., a personal electronic device robbery occurred at Niagara Street and Seneca Avenue in Sunnyside.

On Jan. 16 at 11 p.m., a delivery person was robbed at Hill and Warren streets in Stapleton.

So far this year, Staten Island has recorded 14 robberies in 2026, compared to 12 during the same period in 2025, according to CompStat.
