STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Do you have a young professional on your staff who has made an impact on Staten Island? The Staten Island Economic Development Corporation wants to hear about their efforts.

The non-profit organization, commonly referred to as the SIEDC, recently kicked off the nomination process for its 2026 “20 Under 40″ awards program, which recognizes 20 young professionals under the age of 40 who have done great things for the borough. These individuals include entrepreneurs, philanthropists and business leaders.

“The ‘20 Under 40’ Leadership Awards is one of Staten Island’s most prestigious recognitions,” said SIEDC President & CEO Mike Cusick. “Our borough moves forward because of the next generation working right here — launching businesses, innovating in health care and technology, and leading in the arts, social services, and more. These young leaders are keeping jobs here, driving economic growth, and shaping the future of our community.”
