A federal judge has approved the sale of a million-dollar Brooklyn Park property to be used for restitution in the Feeding Our Future case.

According to court documents, 8432 Noble Avenue North in Brooklyn Park is tied to defendants Ahmed Sharif Omar-Hashim, Abdi Nur Salah, Abdihakim Ali Ahmed, Ahmed Mohamed Artan, Abdikadir Ainanshe Mohamud, and third-party property owner Five A’s Projects, LLC. The money used to buy the property is tied to fraud.

According to Hennepin County property records, the group bought the property for $1 million in 2021. An assessor determined that the parcel had a property value of $994,500 in 2024.

The property was formerly home to the restaurant and bar Kelly’s 19th Hole, which operated for 38 years before closing in 2020.

The five defendants have entered guilty pleas but haven’t yet been sentenced.
