The Boston Celtics face off against the Brooklyn Nets on Friday, Jan. 23. This will be the third meeting between the two teams, with the season series currently even at 1-1. Brooklyn is coming into the game following a disastrous performance against the New York Knicks earlier this week, where it lost 66-120.

Nevertheless, the Celtics must remain focused in order to avoid a potential trap game. Joe Mazzulla’s team will also be without Derrick White (rest) and potentially Neemias Queta, who is currently listed as questionable due to a non-COVID illness. Still, with the way Jaylen Brown is performing, the Celtics will walk into the game as heavy favorites and will undoubtedly want to build on their win over the Indiana Pacers.

During a recent episode of the “Celtics Chronicle” podcast, host Adam Taylor was joined by Lucas Kaplan of SB Nation’s Nets Daily. The duo previewed the upcoming game, while also touching on the Nets’ rebuilding efforts, the potential plan for the trade deadline and the production of Nic Claxton.
