Aaron Glenn is making a number of changes to his coaching staff after his disappointing first season as Jets head coach.

A source confirmed that Glenn fired quarterbacks coach Charles London, pass game coordinator Scott Turner, linebackers coach Aaron Curry, defensive line coach Eric Washington, defensive assistant Alonso Escalante and defensive assistant Roosevelt Williams.

These moves come after a terrible 3-14 Jets season

Glenn had previously fired defensive coordinator Steve Wilks

Now, Glenn has a number of other openings to fill, but the defensive coordinator position is a big one that still hasn’t been filled despite the fact the Jets have interviewed many candidates.

The Jets have interviewed eight candidates for the defensive coordinator job. They include: former Giants and Michigan defensive coordinator Wink Martindale, Jim Leonhard, Jim O’Neil, Daronte Jones, Ephraim Banda, DeMarcus Covington, Mathieu Araujo and Chris Harris, who finished the season as the Jets’ interim defensive coordinator.

Though two offensive coaches were fired Friday, Tanner Engstrand is remaining as the team’s offensive coordinator.
