Legislators, quit your drag queen obsession
As of Jan. 15 of this year, there have been six men convicted or arrested of child sexual abuse/exploitation in Tennessee. Their occupations ranged from a former corrections employee to a church deacon, elementary school PE teacher, and county school employee.
What was one of the first bills that the Tennessee House passed in its first week in session? HB0885 further restricting drag shows in Tennessee. There have been exactly zero documented instances or official records of a drag queen being arrested for crimes against children this year.
The Tennessee General Assembly would do well to get over its obsession with drag queens and pass serious legislation that actually improves the lives of Tennesseans.

Make Engel Stadium our history center
Engel Stadium is home to Chattanooga’s history.
Why not renovate Engel Stadium and finally find a home for Chattanooga’s historical items and history for all to see?
Goodness, practically every city or town has a history center. Forget the past attempts. Look to the future as all the historical buildings are at risk. With no historical information and relics for the public to see, our understanding how we became the city we are now could be lost, possibly for good.
I think it’s shameful, with our rich culture in Chattanooga, not to have a place to go see our historical treasures.

Minn. protesters lack common sense
The Minnesota windchill must be adversely affecting the brain functions of the anarchists/liberals! They need to come inside (not a church!) and thaw out their frozen common sense. Once they do that, some real-life facts might dawn on them.
› Peaceful protest is not throwing objects at, ramming vehicles of or attempting to run over ICE officers.
› When ordered by an ICE officer to “get out of the car,” it is a much better outcome if you comply.
› Federal law is, and always has been, supreme to local and state law.
› Minnesota is a state, not an independent “republic,” so federal law enforcement will go wherever DOJ sends it. “Resistance” to this is insurrection and a federal crime.
The left needs to swallow its pride and back off. Unless they are interested in the “Federal Prison Diet Plan.”
