Olivia Rodrigo is returning to the stage this week — but this time, it’s for a cause close to her heart. The Grammy-winning pop star has announced a special intimate concert in New York City, set for Thursday, October 23, in partnership with American Express. The event will offer Platinum Card Members an exclusive chance to attend, with all proceeds going to Rodrigo’s Fund 4 Good, her charitable foundation supporting women’s and girls’ rights, reproductive freedom, and education.
Olivia announced the event on social media, writing, “Hey NYC! Look for @americanexpress mirrors in Soho, East Village, and Williamsburg tomorrow. Platinum Card Members — snap a selfie and you can find out how to purchase tickets for my special intimate performance on 10/23.”

The announcement comes just days after the singer hinted that she had something exciting in store for fans. On Sunday (October 19), Rodrigo first dropped a subtle teaser on Instagram, saying she was “excited to partner with @americanexpress for an intimate performance for Platinum Card Members in NYC.”
This surprise show p arrives as Olivia Rodrigo gears up for her next artistic chapter, the “OR3 era.” Earlier this fall, she celebrated the two-year anniversary of her acclaimed sophomore album, Guts, with a heartfelt message to her fans — and a major hint that new music is coming soon. “I made the most incredible memories over the last two years and can’t wait to share what’s next with you soon!!” she wrote in a handwritten note shared on social media.
The 22-year-old singer has already started dropping subtle clues about her next direction. Her official website recently debuted a sleek new purple-and-red color scheme featuring her name in bold, distorted lettering.
Her previous project, Guts dripped over two years ago. Released through Geffen Records, the album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and topped charts in more than 15 countries. It spawned multiple hits, including “Vampire,” “Bad Idea Right?,” and “Get Him Back!” and earned six Grammy nominations, including Album of the Year.
The accompanying Guts World Tour, which wrapped this summer, was both a critical and commercial triumph — grossing over $196 million worldwide.
