Despite years of publicly feuding, VictoriaBeckham has “great memories” with her eldest son, BrooklynBeckham.
Days after Brooklyn, 26, shared his side of the family drama, the Spice Girls alum, 51, took to social media on Thursday, January 22, to reflect on a special memory from their past.
“In 2006, I travelled to Madrid to photograph DavidBeckham. He was playing for REAL MADRID and by now was one of the world’s biggest superstars,” photographer Platon Antoniou shared via Instagram alongside a photo of the former soccer star, 50. “That day his family came to visit. Victoria arrived with Brooklyn, who was seven years old, Romeo, who was four and Cruz, who was just a baby.”
“While Victoria was busy with the children, I started work with David. At one point, Brooklyn ran on set with his football under his arm and hugged his dad’s right leg. Then, Romeo joined his older brother. Then, Victoria also appeared with baby Cruz in her arms,” Antoniou continued. “The whole family turned away from us for a private heartfelt group hug…Celebrity comes with a heavy price and often it is family members who also pay. To see this tenderness was very moving and I knew it would make a beautiful picture, especially as this famous family were not facing my camera.”
Victoria took to the comment section, reacting to the sweet story, writing, “Brings back great memories! ❤️.”
Victoria’s sweet words come just days after Brooklyn shared his side of the family’s drama, claiming his mother “hijacked” his first dance with wife Nicola Peltz at their April 2022 wedding. Brooklyn also accused his parents of controlling his life and pressuring him “into signing away the rights to [his] name.”
