NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) — New York City students will have remote classes on Monday during a major snowstorm, city officials announced.

All school buildings will be closed, but students will still be expected to attend school from home, Mayor Zohran Mamdani said.

High school students and middle school students at some schools will not have remote learning because of a “previously scheduled professional learning day,” according to Mamdani.

Charter schools will be closed, but will decide for themselves whether students shift to remote learning.
