With a winter storm hitting Western New York and the rest of New York, several communities declared travel advisories ahead of the storm.

The city of Buffalo’s travel advisory, effective 12 p.m. Sunday, will remain in place until lifted.
Gov. Kathy Hochul on Friday declared a state of emergency for all of New York.
During a news conference on Friday, Hochul outlined the conditions that are forecasted and the preparations New Yorkers should be taking to stay safe. According to Hochul, the conditions will be dangerous and will impact the entire state.
