SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The Central New York Business Journal is preparing to publish its final weekly edition, closing a decades-long chapter in the region’s business news.
In a message from President Marny Nesher, the Journal announced that the Jan. 26 issue will be its last as the business winds down over the coming weeks.
Nesher said, “Since 1986, The Central New York Business Journal has been a family business rooted in a simple but deeply held belief: that this region deserved a responsible, trusted voice dedicated to its business community.”
The Journal has covered business news across a 16-county area, including Central New York, the Mohawk Valley, the North Country and the Southern Tier.
Nesher said, “Our focus was always on delivering credible, trusted content to a highly engaged business audience, and doing so with consistency, care and respect for the community we served.”
