Lake snow will continue overnight, but lift north of the Thruway impacting areas north of the Thruway for the Tuesday morning commute.
Lake snow will persist Tuesday morning east of Lake Ontario then gradually dip to the southeast Tuesday afternoon and continue into Wednesday with additional heavy accumulations likely.
Outside of the lake snow, temperatures will remain frigid and well below average the rest of the week into the weekend.Â
