STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Port Richmond recorded its first on-the-court win of the season, topping CSI/McCown, 32-23, in a non-league battle between PSAL teams Tuesday at home.
Rubie Diaz led all scorers with 16 points, while Kassidy Hill and Alycia Khan added eight and six points, respectively.
Head coach John Sce’s club, which plays in the PSAL 4A division compared to CSI/McCown’s 3A status, held a three-point lead at the half and pulled away in the second half by holding CSIM to just 12 points to close out the game.
The Raiders were credited with a forfeit win over HS Health Profession earlier this season.
