EAST FLATBUSH — BROOKLYN-BASED DEVELOPER Grun Group filed plans to build a 13-story residential building at 469 Troy Ave. in East Flatbush, Commercial Observer reports.
The proposed development would contain 94 residential units across roughly 62,705 square feet. The project would replace a one-story commercial building at the corner of Troy and East New York avenues, for which demolition permits were filed earlier this month.
Plans were filed by Grun Group founder and CEO Yonah Grunhut and include seven to eight apartments per floor, along with a bike room and 13 on-site parking spaces. No additional amenity spaces were detailed in the filing.
If approved, the project would mark Grun Group’s first development in Brooklyn. The firm previously completed projects in New Jersey and filed multiple residential plans in the Bronx.
East Flatbush added more than 4,300 housing units since 2010, according to NYU Furman Center data.
