NEW YORK (PIX11) — A 16-year-old boy was stabbed several times during a confrontation with a group of five suspects outside a Manhattan building, police said.
The teen was attacked near 285 Nicholas Ave. at around 2:30 p.m. on Jan. 12, according to the NYPD.
The boy was repeatedly stabbed in the body by one of the five suspects who approached him, police said. The teen was taken to the hospital for treatment.
It was unclear what prompted the violence.

The suspects fled after the incident. Police released photos of the group of males wanted in connection with the attack.
