PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. (WCAX) – Three people are facing court dates after being accused of stealing food intended for National Guard members at a Plattsburgh hotel.
New York State Police said they responded to the Microtel Inn & Suites earlier this week after learning that New York National Guard members who stay at the hotel had a designated table set up for DoorDash orders.
Police said three people stole the food from the lobby on Tuesday night.
Christian Diaz, 44, Kayla Parrish, 29, and Zachary Sheldon, 34, all of Plattsburgh, were charged with petit larceny.
