David Beckham is leaning on Tom Cruise amid his ongoing feud with son Brooklyn, insiders reveal to the National Enquirer.

“Tom’s been telling David to be patient, to keep the door open, and to not let pride or anger get in the way of eventually repairing things,” says a source. “Tom really feels for David.”

The Mission: Impossible star, 63, allegedly hasn’t seen his own daughter, Suri, 19, since 2013, according to a 2024 report from In Touch.

The now-college student — who is Cruise’s only child with ex-wife Katie Holmes — seemingly even dropped his last name, choosing to go by Suri Noelle at her high school graduation in 2025, per People.

“Tom has shared what he’s learned the hard way,” spills the source. “You cannot force these situations. Sometimes, all you can do is make sure your child knows you’re there when they’re ready.”

Brooklyn, 26, has made it clear he’s not ready to make amends.

In a scathing statement released on social media, he slammed dad David and his mom, Victoria, for spreading “lies” to the press and “trying endlessly to ruin” his relationship with wife Nicola Peltz.

“I do not want to reconcile with my family,” the amateur chef wrote via Instagram Stories on Monday, January 19. “I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.”

According to the source, Cruise is advising his retired soccer player pal, 50, not to respond in the same public manner.

“David is desperate for things to improve with Brooklyn, but he doesn’t want to make it worse by pushing too hard, so he’s taking Tom’s advice,” says the source. “As much as David and Victoria want to speak out and defend themselves right now, they’re being told by everyone in their circle, including Tom, to stay silent and only engage with Brooklyn privately.”
