EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) – Last month, HOM Furniture announced a collection of winter clothing for Eau Claire Area School District kids.
Friday, Queen’s Dry Cleaning in Eau Claire are doing their part in making all 300 coats donated, squeaky clean. However, they say with the overflow in coats, they’re cleaning 10 to 12 a day.
“It’s just a way for us to give back. The Chippewa Valley supports my business huge, so I’m just thankful to give back. My girls work hard at getting everything turned around, we’re almost through it but it’s been a lot of fun!” said Erin Madden, the owner of Queens Dry Cleaning.
Madden says it will be about two weeks until every coat, mitten, hat and gloves are clean, but they are excited to do their part in giving back to the community.
