GRAMERCY PARK, Manhattan (PIX11) — Police are searching for a 33-year-old man after they say a 14-year-old girl was raped on Thursday morning.
The incident happened around 11:42 a.m. in a building near 1st Avenue and First Avenue Loop.
Police say the suspect, identified as Germaine Parham, sexually assaulted the girl and took her phone before fleeing the scene.
The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Parham was last seen wearing a black and gray knitted hat, a gray face covering, a white coat, camouflage pants, and black boots.
