Delays and cancellations were reported at Newark Airport Feb. 1 as the Southeast deals with a blizzard, an exceptionally rare sight for that part of the country.

AccuWeather said the storm could be the largest in decades for the Carolinas with 8-12 inches of snow predicted in some inland areas.

Although North Jersey avoided the snow this time the effects could be felt at the airport.
