A victim has been identified after a woman’s remains were found in Brooklyn on Sunday morning.

On Monday, officials identified the victim as 39-year-old Michelle Montgomery.

The disturbing discovery was made just after 9:30 a.m. in the basement of the building at The Borinquen Public Houses at 330 Bushwick Avenue.

A city housing authority worker found Montgomery’s body in the black garbage bag in the compactor room.

The employee tried to lift the bag, but it was too heavy. She opened the bag, found the victim’s body inside and called 911.

No arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death, but it is considered suspicious.
