Mitski‘s anticipated new album Nothing’s About to Happen to Me arrives later this month (pre-order), and she’s given us a second preview with “I’ll Change For You.” It’s a gorgeous, orchestral ballad, and you can watch the video, directed by Lexie Alley and edited by Rena Johnson, below.
Mitski has also announced the first shows supporting the album, a series of residencies in select cities around the world. Sex Week, Gustaf, La Zorra Zapata, Haley Heynderickx, Canozan, Maria Somerville, Tarta Relena, and Gwenifer Raymond each open select shows, and you can see all dates below.
The residencies begin in NYC, with six nights at The Shed on March 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, and 9; Sex Week open the first three shows, and Gustaf the next three. Tickets to those and all dates go on sale Friday, February 13 at 10 AM local, with an artist presale starting Wednesday, February 11 at 10 AM local.
