St. Mary’s Healthcare System for Children welcomed families to their “Monster Mash” event on Sunday, October 19th for a day filled with fall festivities and community spirit. The event featured music, games, trunk-or-treat activities, a costume contest, raffles, and delicious food, bringing smiles to some of New York’s most medically fragile children.

The event was held to raise funds for St. Mary’s essential programs that deliver high-quality care to children with complex medical needs. All proceeds will support the hospital’s long- term and rehabilitative services, enabling St. Mary’s to continue its mission of transforming the lives of young patients and their families.

“The Monster Mash is more than just a Halloween tradition for our patients, it serves as a reminder of what we can accomplish when our community comes together,” said Sean Lally, President and CEO of St. Mary’s Healthcare System for Children. “Each year, this event brings smiles to our kids and families while helping to fun the care and programs that help them reach their full potential.”

St. Mary’s Healthcare System for Children has been dedicated to providing specialized care to New York’s most vulnerable children for more than 150 years. St. Mary’s provides a continuum of care to children with medically complex conditions through an in-patient hospital facility in Bayside Queens, as well as home care services and community programs.
