A Northern New York man was charged after police said he threw a hatchet during a road rage incident in Ellenburg.New York State Police said Tyler Donaldson, 48, of Hermon was driving on Star Road in July when he became irritated with another driver who slowed down due to road work.The victim told police that Donaldson threw a hatchet at them while he passed their vehicle, which damaged the car.Troopers followed up with an investigation and charged Donaldson on Feb. 2 with reckless endangerment and criminal possession of a weapon.He was processed and released and is due in court in Altona later this month to answer to the charges.
