While at the show on Tuesday night, the two donned complementary Glinda and Elphaba-inspired pink and green outfits, and looked elated as they cheered on the contestants and pros.
In her video posted a day before, Bailey shared that she and her sister have prior dance experience and participated in the drill team in high school.
“But drill team and ballroom are completely different,” she said. “Drill team is high kicks and pom-poms, ballroom is extremely technical.”
She went on to explain that she and her sister have several fun connections to the show, including pro dancers and past competitors.
“For context, the reason we thought it was possible was because we had so many friends on Dancing with the Stars,” she shared, going to to reveal that her husband Asa Howard’s cousin Sadie Robertson had performed on the show, as well as violinist Lindsey Stirling, who is a good friend of her family’s.

“We also have roots from Utah, so we pretty much know most of the pros, like Lindsay [Arnold] and Witney [Carson],” she said.
Going on, Bailey said that she and Brooklyn had applied to be on the show at least three times.
“The last two times we’ve applied, they have said they do not want to cast twins because they don’t want to split the votes,” she explained. “We have even tried to convince them to do an iconic duos season.”
“Our response to that was: ‘Then pick one of us,”’ she laughed.
“At this point, it’s just been such a lifelong dream,” she continued. “I don’t care if it’s Brooklyn or me.”
